Following the success of 2025’s ‘Cathedrals’, LOWMOON - the lofi indie project of musician and producer Mikey Wilson - returns with his highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Decade Fever’, set for release on 20th March via Safe Suburban Home Records.
While his previous work captured hazy, sun-drenched memories, ‘Decade Fever’ finds LOWMOON at his most evocative, layering his signature sound with a widescreen sense of scale and crystalline hooks. The album explores the friction between nostalgia and the passing of time, blending Wilson’s signature vulnerability with a newfound energy that feels both neon-lit and deeply personal.
Maintaining a strict DIY ethos, Wilson continues to record from his bedroom studio in Yorkshire, utilising a growing arsenal of pawn-shop drum machines, vintage synths, and outboard gear to create a sound that avoids the sterile sheen of modern software.
Listeners can expect the familiar juxtaposition of shimmering pop guitars and melancholic, dreamy vocals, but with an added layer of post-punk urgency. It is an album that feels like a step into the night - introspective, authentic, and unmistakably LOWMOON.
